Due to continued growth, we are recruiting 1 x LGV Class 2 Driver to support our Howden’s Joinery contract, working at our Erith site.
The role will offer a salary of £38,587 per annum
The scope of work will include:
- Delivery of products to dedicated Howden’s depots
- Work pattern: Monday – Friday, with start times of between 06:00 and 07:00 am
- On average, 8-10 drops per day within Essex, Kent, and the Home Counties
- Goods are palletised and loaded/unloaded by Folk Lift Truck at the Howden depots
- Goods are pre routed, no other allocated work
Key requirements:
- A full, valid class 2 Driving licence with minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
- A valid DCPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to start at varying times
- The ability to do manual handling, if required
- Full time work
- Very little manual handling, all goods loaded and unloaded using FLT
- Monday to Friday work pattern
