We have a fantastic opportunity for x2 DCPC qualified Class 2 driving professionals, looking to take their next career step and join a world-renowned logistics company

The Role:
We are looking to recruit for 2 x Class 2 Day Drivers to support our Glasgow depot. We can offer you good quality work as a driver: being part of the Yusen team delivering network stock on behalf of our clients. You will complete 4-8 deliveries to Customer sites which are mainly small independent retail shops.
We can offer a variety of shifts, from 0500 am to 0900 am so you must be flexible in your approach.

The role offers an annual salary of £30,888.00 with overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours. There is also an uplift payment of £2.00 per hour for any hours worked between 18:00 pm to 06:00am.

Key requirements:
  • A full, valid driving licence with a Class 2 entitlement
  • 12 months experience preferred but newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply
  • A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
  • A valid DCPC
  • A valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Good communication skills

The scope of work will include:
  • Delivery of all planned stock, including manual handling deliveries
  • To undertake any other operational duties necessary with operational requirements
  • Ensure all documentation is signed and completed as required
  • Reporting to the office for a full debrief after the shift
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects immediately
  • Providing excellent Customer Service
