We are now looking to recruit X1 Class 2 Driver to join our team in Avonmouth, Bristol on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of white goods products to small independent retailers within the southern regions of the UK, from South and mid Wales to Devon, Cornwall, and Southampton. This role includes manual handling of the products by way of a tail lift operation.
Your duties will include:
- The safe and efficient delivery of ‘white goods’ products from the truck to the customers premises using manual handling techniques
- Ensuring designated routes and times comply with planning documentation
- Using a combination of scanners and paperwork to document Proof of delivery
- Maintaining fuel consumption targets and ECO driving scores
- Complying with legal requirements including vehicle, Tachograph and driving regulations
- Ensuring all documentation and company procedures are adhered to
- Escalating any issues or problems which may affect delivery or collection
- Maintaining a good working relationship with our customers
- Completing all vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the transport office
To be considered as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A full, valid driving Class 2 licence with a minimum of 12 month’s experience
- Previous experience of working within a similar role would be advantageous
- A valid DCPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customer
