Job description

Salary: £33,169.50 p/y - monthly paid, plus Veolia benefits.

Hours: 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday 6 am start - Overtime available on weekdays and weekends.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into truck.
  • Helping out loading and unloading vehicles when required
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
  • Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
  • Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

What are we looking for?

  • Class 2 License
  • An up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
  • A can-do attitude and good time-management skills.
  • Being a team player is key to ensuring our collections run smoothly.
