LGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver

What you will enjoy doing
- Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of vehicle allocated
- You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheet for the vehicle and as well as any specialised equipment that you may need to use as part of daily work
- If necessary, operate special BOC equipment such as a forklift truck or crane for loading and unloading vehicles
- Applying defensive driving techniques, knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads to ensure the safe transit and delivery of cylinders is required
- You will deliver approx. 15-20 gas cylinders per day to customers in the area
- Use safe cylinder manual handling techniques to deliver/collect cylinders to/from customers
- Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations
What makes you great
- You are holding an HGV/LGV Cat C licence
- ADR (Class 2 in packages) desirable and training will be provided where appropriate
- A driver CPC is required
- Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
- Have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes

What we offer you!
Starting salary of £42,937.00 with annual increments to £45,541 and normal operating hours Monday to Friday. Further we offer paid weekends working available and additional allowances for Bank Holidays. London Weighting allowance where applicable, and up to 25 days paid holiday – moving to 26 days after 10 years. You will benefit from in house training and professional development. As well as uniform and full PPE provided. Occupational Health support including Employee Assistance Programme will be given. Moreover, regular licence and health surveillance checks, excellent pension scheme and excellent reward recognition scheme.
