About Level 6 Apprenticeship in Chartered Management

  • This degree-level apprenticeship will earn you a BA (Hons) Degree in Business and Management Practice, certified by Oxford Brookes University. The degree will focus on the theory behind a range of business functions, such as Customer Success, Consumer and Analytics and Operations. Upon completion of the end stage assessment, you will be awarded CMI status as part of the apprenticeship programme.
  • As an apprentice, you will be a hybrid worker, varying your working week by working at NIQ’s UK Head Office in Oxford, at home and with allocated days to attend university. You will also be allocated study time within working hours. You will be completing your study at Abingdon and Witney college with your degree being certified by Oxford Brookes University.
  • In order to gain an understanding of the business, and to utilise your skill set, you will have 3 yearly rotations throughout the business, focusing on different skills such as sales, analytics and project management.

  • Studying for a degree whilst working in a fast-moving industry like ours can be demanding and challenging, but the hard work pays off.
  • We look for individuals with plenty of drive, passion and self-motivation that can bring a new way of thinking to a team. You’ll need excellent communication and teamwork skills and be able to organise a varied workload.

Requirements

  • Three passes at GCSE (grades 9-4/A-C) or O-Level (grades A-C), including Maths and English Language.
  • Plus one of the following: a minimum of two A Level (grades A - C) OR a 6-unit Vocational A Level OR A National Certificate or Diploma or other equivalent qualification, such as GNVQ/NVQ or other Level 3 vocational qualification.

The Application Process & Timelines

STEP 1 - Application opens April: To apply for this apprenticeship you will need to visit our careers website and apply for the Level 6 Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship. You will need to submit an online application with your CV.

STEP 2 - Invite to Video Assessment April / May:If you are successful through screening, you will be asked to complete a video assessment. This is a one-way video assessment where you will be asked competency based questions.

STEP 3 - Assessment Centre June / July: Successful candidates will be invited an Assessment Centre. This will enable you to demonstrate your relevant skills and abilities to the NIQ Team.

STEP 4 - Offer: After the Assessment Centre, we will aim to get back to you as soon as possible with an outcome. If successful, you will be invited to Abingdon and Witney College to complete an English and Maths assessment.

STEP 5 - Start your Apprenticeship: You will start your apprenticeship with NIQ in September 2023.
