About the role

The Property Services Facilities Management Team have created a brand new and exciting role, for a school leaver or for someone who wants a change in their career path. Providing you meet the criteria set out in the Job Description, you will be mentored and guided through this course.

You can join the course at any time through our chosen education provider, with no regulated semester times, giving you a unique roll on, roll off modular approach. each course is built around your availability, learning style and ability to put into practice what you will be learning when working within Facilities Management team.

What will you be doing?

As part of the Level 3 Building Services Engineering & Maintenance Apprenticeship you will be learning the following topics over the 24 month period:

  • Health, Safety & the Environment Communication
  • Working Effectively and taking Responsibility
  • Plumbing & Water Treatment
  • Refrigeration - Mechanical Engineering
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) - Mechanical Engineering
  • Gas - Mechanical Engineering
  • Protection systems engineering
  • Electrotechnical Engineering
  • Building Management Systems
  • Managing Tasks, Encouraging Innovation and Working Ethically
  • Sustainable Construction & Maintenance
