Leisure Attendant

Salary - £20,001 (pro-rata for part-time)

Permanent, Part-Time: 14.25 hours per week (Monday 16:00 - 21:15 and Saturday 7:45 - 17:15),

Location: Craiglockhart Leisure & Tennis Centre

Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? We are looking for friendly, positive, and vibrant individuals to join our team at Craiglockhart Leisure & Tennis Centre as Leisure attendants.

In this face-to-face customer service role, you are always on the go so there is never a dull moment. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering great customer service as a first point of contact, ensuring that every visit is recorded appropriately, and customers’ needs are met.
  • Meeting and greeting customers, pointing them in the right direction, creating a welcoming and fun environment, and helping them get the best experience on every visit.
  • Preparing our venues for events and customer use by setting up and taking down equipment.
  • Keeping everything clean, tidy, safe, and presentable, including litter picking, cleaning toilets, changing rooms and windows.

Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Customer-focused, enthusiastic individual with strong organizational skills and ability to the juggle multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Great listener with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to convey information to a varied customer base.
  • Decisive, fair, and consistent problem-solver, able to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
