Job description
This is a key role within the Community Services area as we enter an exciting period for the Council where we will be looking to tender for the Council’s leisure centre management contract. The role will need to work on a systems approach to tackling health inequalities and inactivity, with partners such as Public Health, Integrated Care System, Active Oxfordshire and Social Prescribers. A key responsibility will be to actively manage and review the performance of the contract going forward including the transition with the existing contract.
We are looking for somebody who excels in partnership working, developing positive relationships quickly and effectively, but at the same time is also able to manage contracts in an efficient and effective manner to ensure our communities gain the maximum benefits that these facilities can provide. This would suit someone who is a team player and passionately believes in the power of leisure, physical activity and wellbeing to make real positive changes for our communities.
