Security Officer
Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY
Hours: Fully Flexible; working up to 5 days out of 7, covering hours that can be between 07:00am -11:00pm
Pay: up to £10.67 per hour + pension, ongoing training and Merlin Magic Pass – 20 free tickets for you, your family and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world
About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
We are looking for Security Officers to join our AWESOME Security & First Aid team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
Reporting to the Security Manager, our Security Officers work as part of our resort security team ensuring that LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff. (While we are recruiting for Security Officers that hold an SIA licence, we also have Security Host positions available for candidates who have not been issued their SIA licence yet - this will be discussed further at screening.)
About the role of Security Officer

Carry out bag searches for guests entering the park

Act as a first point of contact for guests who may need guidance or reassurance

Be a first responder for any instances of conflict within the resort

You will be involved in the resorts loss and crime prevention program and are encouraged to remain vigilant for any activities or persons that could be deemed as suspicious
- Monitor commercial units acting as a deterrent to theft and to ensure a quick response for both staff and guests with any reported accusations of theft
Experience required:

You will hold an SIA licence (minimum door supervisor)

A First Aid at Work certificate is desirable

You will have a passion for delivering excellent service, always having a bright smile regardless of the weather
- You will be an excellent communicator, always remaining professional and calm in the event of an incident that could cause disruption or panic
