Purpose of the role:
Providing seamless legal services to clients and supporting a team of lawyers and secretaries.
As the Legal Secretary you will be:
- Creating invoices and credit notes
- Completing monthly expenses
- Sending client’s receipts of monies paid by card
- Carrying out audits on lawyers’ files to ensure they are compliant with AML and SRA regulations
- Amending documents and letters
- Keeping the document management system updated with any changes in client’s information
- Working with Oyez Speech 7 to outsource documents, print from the ‘outsource’ tab if necessary and complete department dictations
- Providing efficient diary and email management
- Providing effective management of visitors and calls
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Recording the teams Business Development activities
- Managing communication with internal and external contacts ensuring that the HODs are informed of all matters
- Preparing correspondence, presentations and documents when required
- Providing ad hoc personal administrative assistance to all
- Creating zylpha bundles when necessary
- Covering other areas of support due to holidays/absence

- Good understanding of word for formatting, track changes etc.

- Ability to be resourceful with good time management skills
