CJCH Solicitors is an award-winning legal practice with a large network across South Wales. We are looking for an experienced legal secretary to join our family law department, working from our Cardiff or Barry office.
The role could be part-time (minimum of 3 days per week) or full-time and will be office-based or hybrid (Hybrid after initial in-office training is undertaken).
The ideal candidate will have extensive legal administration or secretarial experience, preferably in the areas of family and matrimonial law or childcare law, with an understanding of the procedures involved in these areas of law.
- Have strong communication skills
- Have strong computer and case management system skills (experience using Microsoft Office suite and case management systems is a must)
- Be organised and proactive
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in legal administration and secretarial work.
- Be able to work on a large volume of matters simultaneously, with the ability to transcribe dictation and prepare court bundles.
This role is specifically for a legal administrator/secretary, it is not a paralegal role or a lead into a training contract. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (part-time up to 3 days per week is possible).
