The Team
Fieldfisher is looking to recruit individuals who will work as part of a team of paralegals in the review of sensitive documents in the preparation for hearings on a high profile public inquiry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to establish themselves in one of Europe's most exciting law firms.
The role is expected to commence immediately.

A bit about the role
- Working with a team of paralegals and lawyers on a client matter involving large volumes of correspondence and documentation
- Assessing the relevance of a document to the inquiry's scope and applying redactions, if appropriate
- Preparing bundles and schedules of documents for witnesses, counsel team and in the preparation of oral hearings
- Assisting with administrative tasks necessary to progress investigations
A bit about you
- Holds a University Degree or Gradate Diploma in Law (GDL) (if applicable);
- Previous experience working on a public inquiry or other similar large-scale investigation/litigation (6 months minimum).
- Experience working with electronic management systems, such as Relativity.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
- Strong organisational / time management skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good at working as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in public law and public inquiries, so as to thrive in the task of reviewing complex/lengthy but interesting documents.
- IT literate.
