Freelance Linguists - Remote and In-Person Interpreters/Translators Company: Legal Interpreting Location: Remote (with options for in-person assignments)

Are you a skilled linguist with a passion for interpreting and translating? Legal Interpreting is currently looking for talented freelance linguists to join our team. If you possess a DPSI (Diploma in Public Service Interpreting) qualification and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in interpreting and translating, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: As a freelance linguist at Legal Interpreting, your main responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality interpreting and translation services primarily through remote channels.

Occasionally performing in-person interpreting assignments when required.

Collaborating effectively with clients to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate communication.

Adhering to professional standards, ethics, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Minimum of a DPSI qualification.

Proven experience of at least 3 years in interpreting and translating.

Proficiency in at least two languages, including English.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting and translating complex information.

Ability to work independently and manage assignments within specified deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications and experiences are considered a plus:

Experience in the legal industry, particularly court interpretation.

Certification or qualification to interpret in court proceedings.
