A fantastic opportunity has become available for a self-employed Legal Audio Typist to represent a leading digital dictation transcription and secretarial service with our early morning team. Working on a freelance basis as a remote worker, the successful candidate will earn a competitive transcription rate. Hours flexible but availability for 16+ hours per week preferred. Currently we are only looking for people who wish to work early morning hours.
Key Responsibilities
As an Audio Typist your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Transcribing legal audio recordings and/or documents accurately
Treating sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion
Working from home, independently, and making good use of online resources and your own knowledge base
Key Skills/ Experience
To be considered for the Audio Typist role you must have a legal background across several specialities, with demonstrable previous experience in audio typing. In addition the following key skills and experience are essential:
· Have recent legal experience of at least 3 years and covering multiple specialities
. 70 wpm
· Excellent attention to detail and quality
· Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
· Flexible approach to work
· Case Management System experience
Payment is made on a piece rate basis and the salary detailed is indicative of potential.
