- To assist with the work of the Legal Services, typically in the following areas: a. Child care b. Conveyancing (sales, purchases, leases and associated landlord and tenant matters, licences, easements etc.) c. Legal notices and agreements under the Highways Acts d. Traffic management and other statutory orders e. Compensation claims arising from road improvement schemes f. General legal advice to other Directorates on aspects relating to land and other matters g. Trading Standards prosecutions h. Pay and Display prosecutions i. Public Rights of Way issues j. Adult Social Care
- To manage a caseload as allocated relating to any of the above with minimum supervision.
- Degree ILEX Level 3, LPC equivalent
- Appropriate office experience
- Relevant experience in legal work
- Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the County Council and its partner organisations
