Job Title: Risk and Compliance Assistant

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week

Job Status: Permanent

Location: Leeds based, with opportunities for agile (hybrid) working, and travel within England as required.

Salary: £23,488.92 per annum

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance & Governance Team.

The main focus of this role is to provide administration support to the Risk and Compliance Team and as required, the wider Governance Team.

Reporting to the Compliance and Risk Manager, you will provide support to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements and maintain a strong risk and compliance culture.

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise at all levels across the organisation. You will provide support in tracking policies and procedures and support the tracking of risk actions across the organisation.

Managing and prioritising your own workload will come naturally to you along with embracing a busy and varied workload, proactively responding to changing tasks and priorities, using your initiative to solve problems to support the achievement team’s goals. You will have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills, and work to a high degree of accuracy.

You will need to able to quickly develop an understanding of risk and compliance requirements (training and support will be given) to gain the knowledge and understanding of key compliance issues and risks to support the Risk and Compliance Co-Ordinator and Manager.

You will have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills, able to work to a high degree of accuracy and be proactive to provide support to colleagues across the wider Compliance team.
