Job description

Responsibilities:

• Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
• Receiving and sorting daily mail
• Support attorney and lead paralegal in preparing court documents, correspondence, as well as tracking case developments
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filing
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments
• Requesting and scheduling officer interviews
• Process and maintain client files
• Conduct legal research and information gathering
• Communicating with and addressing client concerns, and proactively handling any issues that arise on a daily basis
• Process all emails in a timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• College level courses/degree preferred
• Paralegal certification or 2+ years of experience as a criminal paralegal

Work Hours:

• Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
• In-office

*Spanish speaker preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
