Exciting emerging markets focused lottery company headquartered in London is looking for a dedicated and hard working legal assistant to join their growing organisation. The successful applicant will have an LLB/LLM or LPC and between 3 and 5 years legal assistant/paralegal experience in a corporate or commercial law firm with perhaps some experience within the regulatory or gambling sectors.
Job description:
- Provide legal support to all aspects of the business including reviewing, drafting and reporting on contracts and agreements.
- Handling legal queries from within the organisation
- providing transactional support.
- Liaising with external law firms from around the world on ongoing matters and project.
- conducting research and preparing reports on regulatory and legal issues affecting the business.
- engaging in correspondence with external stakeholders.
- maintaining a comprehensive and up to date electronic filing system for the company.
- creating and managing data rooms.
- providing personal assistant support where required.

Based in SW3, the candidate will be office based Monday to Friday from 930 to 530. Salary range is from £32,000 to £40,000 per annum. Travel may be required from time to time.Paralegal
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, contracts, and agreements
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
- Review and summarize legal documents and deposition transcripts
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
