Job description
Our client is a large international Law Firm who have an established Compliance function based in London. The role is based on a hybrid working scheme and the team are offering a very generous salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching, analysing and conducting conflicts checks for all new and existing clients
- Escalate complex conflicts issues to the Risk & Compliance Manager for resolution
- Act as a point of escalation for junior members of the team offering training support and guidance
- Provide proactive feedback to managers & senior managers in respect of process improvements and development of the team
- The role will also encompass some AML/CDD as and when the team require additional support
Key Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Law Firm Compliance experience (including exposure to Conflicts)
- Understanding of AML/CDD would be advantageous but not essential
- Understanding of the SRA is essential
- Technical understanding of Legal/Commercial Conflicts is essential
