Job description

We are seeking a Legal Administrator to support lawyers in our nationwide team based in our Manchester office with all administration tasks including preparing bundles and dealing with legal aid administration. We are looking for a candidate with sound IT skills, particularly PDF and the ability to prepare electronic court bundles.

This role is on a hybrid working arrangement with 2/3 days working from the Manchester office.

Key responsibilities:
To assist fee earners in the Court of Protection team with their caseloads to include:

  • Preparing bundles for court hearings.
  • Preparing files for billing.
  • Assisting fee earners in the preparation of legal aid applications, including costs increases and HCCP’s.
  • Working with colleagues to ensure that billing is undertaken in an efficient, effective and accurate way
  • Reviewing and reporting WIP and disbursements
  • General administrative tasks
It would be ideal if you have previous experience as a legal administrator (and even better within Court of Protection/Legal Aid), however this is not essential.

Salary:
£20,377 per annum
