Legal Administrator
Part Time Legal Administrator (2 posts) – (x1 Permanent and x1 Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover)
We are looking for 2 individuals to join our Legal Team, one on a part time permanent basis and one for Maternity Leave Cover of up to 12 months.
Together with our full-time Legal Administrator you will play a key role in assisting with the delivery of legal services to the Council.
You will assist a team of legally qualified professionals to deliver a wide range of legal services. You will also be a primary point of contact for the team, which will require you to interact regularly with Senior Council Officers, Elected Members, other Council Departments, External Solicitors and Agencies and with members of the public.
You must:
- Hold a minimum of 3 GCSE’s grades A-C/4-9
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an office environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to maintain a high standard of customer care.
- Have an ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Be able to maintain confidentially at all times.
- Be flexible and able to meet deadlines
The hours of work and days are negotiable to cover the needs of the team.
You will be based at the Council offices in Worksop but as a Council, we’re no longer reliant on a fixed desk, in a fixed building with fixed working hours approach. Remote and new ways of working are our new norm and you will be provided with the technology to enable you to divide your time between the office and home.
