Job description
Kennedys is looking for a Legal Administrator to join our London office. The role will include acknowledging new instructions, creating court bundles, identifying key dates/deadlines, liaising with team to complete client deadlines and general office admin duties, in a paperless environment.
Team
Our national practice services personal injury claims from seven office locations across the UK. We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. We are often instructed on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations via our international offices.
We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in-house R&D capability and award-winning product suite of technological and process innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal accurately with filing - storage and retrieval of client files in line with the department's filing system and locating missing files
- Operate the Firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client's documentation and/or information
- Undertake file closure and archiving when required
- Use the photocopying equipment to achieve copies of the correct standard in line with the Firm's and department's requirements.
Required experience
- Previous administrative experience
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Good typing skills
