Humphries Kirk Solicitors is a well-established and recognised law firm providing professional legal services to clients, locally, nationally and beyond.
Due to iinternal progression, we are seeking a full time Legal Admin Assistant to join our Trusts & Tax Team based at our Dorchester office.
The role
The role will involve working closely with the Head of Trust and Tax to support with the preparation of Trust documentation and Tax reporting work as well as undertaking related administration via the online Trust Registration service. The role will also include supporting the team in the undertaking of Estate Tax Administration, preparation of deeds, personal tax returns and other statutory returns.
About you
You will have previous administration experience that you have gained within a professional environment, along with a good understanding of case management systems, preferably within a law firm. You will have excellent client service skills, will be highly numerate and methodical and able to articulate complex information in an easy to understand manner. An understanding of Trust and Tax law is desirable. You may possess a Law or Business (or related) Degree. Either way, you will be keen to progress your career within law with a focus on Trust and Tax.

Other info:
Hours: Weekly working hours are Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hour break (35 hours) - A flexi time scheme is also available after the probation period which enables employees to flex their start, finish and lunch times (subject to manager approval).
Salary: From £18,528 - £21,000 per annum (please note the salary stated is a guide only and salary offered will be but dependent upon skills/experience level)
Parking: The firm make a discretionary contribution towards a season ticket for the town’s car parks.
