Job description
Due to team expansion, Age UK has an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious, specialist and high achieving Legacy Management Team as we are currently recruiting for a Legacy Officer.
Working as part of an established, respected, and supportive team you’ll be managing a portfolio of mostly residuary and reversionary estates where the charity is named as a beneficiary; monitoring and expediting the collection of legacy income and adding value to maximise legacies within a legal framework. You’ll be a key member of the team with the opportunity to expand your experience.
As Legacy Officer you’ll ensure that the maximum benefit is derived from each estate in which Age UK is a beneficiary, expediting income and balancing legal and charitable responsibilities at all times and within agreed standards. Although this can be fast paced, it is tremendously rewarding, and we provide full support with an emphasis on well-being. You’ll be part of our award-winning fundraising division and we actively encourage learning and development to enable you to build upon your knowledge and succeed.
We are pleased to confirm this is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of home-based and office working. In person attendance is at our London office.
