Job description
The Institute of Education at the University of Winchester provides outstanding Initial Teacher Education, as well as Masters, EdD, NPQH and CPD. We are looking for an excellent, enthusiastic and research informed expert on teaching and teacher education to join our team of academics, committed to enabling our students to transform children’s lives through their practice.
We are seeking a new colleague whose enthusiasm and insights will help to develop our new ITE provision and develop programmes that reflect our values, are ambitious, and provide carefully sequenced, imaginative approaches to ITE. Our ideal candidate will be a highly skilled primary practitioner, with strengths in a range of curriculum areas. Additionally, they will have recent experience in curriculum design, school leadership and school based initial teacher education. Expertise in science would be beneficial.
You will be mentored and supported in your new role and will join a well-established team.
