LECTURER OR SENIOR LECTURER IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE

THE ROLE:
The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, in the field of Pharmaceutical Science, with research interests in one or more of the following areas: medicinal chemistry, phytopharmacy, drug delivery, tissue engineering, biomaterials and additive manufacturing of biomaterials and microfluidics. The School is well equipped with research facilities and analytical instruments. Please use the link for more information about the Drug Delivery research area.
The successful candidate will be expected to make an active contribution to the research profile of the School and complement and strengthen our existing expertise in both research and teaching in a range of UG and PG courses. These include BSc (Hons) Pharmacology, MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Biomedical engineering, and other related subjects. You will lead the delivery of a high-quality learning experience for our students and contribute to curriculum design especially in the area of pharmaceutics and chemistry within the School. You should have a good record of publishing in peer reviewed journals and ideally have some success in obtaining research funding.
You will drive an innovative and engaging approach to learning, teaching and research, and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.
