About This Position
Are you passionate about teaching and learning, keen to share your experience, skills, and knowledge with others?

Here at Bury College, we are seeking a Lecturer to deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment on our Sports courses, inspiring learners to succeed and progress.
You will plan delivery so schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans support learner programmes and undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress.
About You
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or equivalent in Sport (or a related subject area) and who has previous teaching experience on Sport (or related) courses (or teaching practice for NQT’s). Your experience will include producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, and mean you are able to integrate high-quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.
A teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills is not essential, however we do ask that you are working towards this.
