About the role:
The School of Management at ARU is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Human Resources Management, to join the Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour subject group within the School. The successful candidate would contribute to the teaching, research, and consultancy activity of the group, including teaching on a range of Business-related courses within the Faculty, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. As a School, we are committed to an active, collaborative learning pedagogy across our face to face, blended, and distance learning courses and we welcome applicants with experience in, and enthusiasm for, innovative teaching and learning approaches.
One of ARU’s priority research areas is in ‘Sustainable Futures’, and the IMPact Research Centre situated within the School of Management brings together colleagues working on a range of projects on the future of work and consumption. Applications from candidates who would be able to contribute to this research area are particularly welcome.
With a PhD or nearing completion, you'll have successful teaching experience at HE level in a relevant subject discipline and student supervision at undergraduate/postgraduate level. You'll have a proven record of research output and publications/external income generation or the potential to generate this.
