Lecturer in Construction (Multi Skill)
Full Time and Permanent
Unqualified: £22,581 - £26,649 per annum
Qualified: £28,751 - £44,442 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bridgend College for a full time Lecturer in Construction (Multi Skill) to join our Construction team on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose: To plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the curriculum content of programmes effectively and efficiently, and to devise how best to extend our provision and encourage retention.
You will have up to date and relevant knowledge in Construction and experience in a range of construction skills to include Bricklaying,Tiling, Roofing, Carpentry/Joinery and Painting & Decorating. You will also have relevant, recent industrial experience and a Level 3 trade qualification. You should also hold a PGCE certificate (or be prepared to obtain this) and knowledge of City & Guilds curriculum design, delivery and assessment, and IQA/IV quality processes. With excellent interpersonal skills you will have the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
