We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of BTEC level 2-3 /A LEVEL Art teacher within the creative arts team. The College is experiencing growth and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.
You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in this subject. You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons; assess and give feedback on a regular basis; mark and standardise work in line with exam board regulations; engage with internal and external moderation processes; monitor the performance of students against Alps target grades; and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of BTEC new specification to level 2 and 3 learners and have knowledge of the art specification for OCR Art and Design. The successful candidate will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area. They will contribute to the delivery of BTEC level 2 Art and design practice specification and BTEC level 3 Art and Design skills specification and or the A level provision for year 12/13 Fine art.
A relevant degree is essential and applicants must already have a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.
