As such, we are now recruiting a Lecturer in Marketing on our Learning and Teaching/Research Pathway, to support the delivery of this subject area and our ambitions to develop our undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
The Role:
The post of Lecturer in Marketing will provide you with an excellent opportunity to influence the direction of our diverse and vibrant curriculum going forward and become involved in both module and programme leadership.
You will be joining an ambitious growing team of academics within the Marketing Subject Group. Joining the team will put you in an ideal position to use your knowledge and experience to contribute to the Marketing subject area. If you have related expertise in brand management, digital marketing or international marketing, then we would be particularly interested in speaking with you.
Your responsibilities will include developing, designing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning underpinned by academic scholarship and professional practice within your assigned areas of responsibility, using your experience to contribute to the support of our expanding undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
It is expected that you will also contribute to our international deliveries in, for example Hong Kong and Singapore, with the opportunity to contribute to our growing Global Online Portfolio.
Individual and collaborative research projects will allow you to contribute to the research profile within the Business School, leading to the production of high-quality research outputs and outcomes. Your valuable input will contribute to the University's objective of growing our academic reputation for research-informed student learning based on industry awareness.
What we will need from you:
- A doctoral level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Evidence of a professional academic and research profile
- Demonstrable evidence of teaching specialisation/experience within the area of Digital Marketing and or Brand Management/ International Marketing
- Sufficient breadth and depth of experience to support and develop high quality teaching/learning and research projects
- Commitment to supporting international and online delivery of curriculum
- Expertise in brand management, digital marketing or international marketing (desirable)

Salary: £44,263 - £56,021 per annum (Grade 6)
