Do you have the creativity, and inspirational flair to join our dynamic team? We are looking for a Full Time Lecturer in Law to further enhance our curriculum offer. We are looking to expand our delivery team to cater for the growing interest in this subject area. We welcome applications from recent graduates looking for their first teaching post, existing lecturers with experience or practitioners in Legal Services looking for a career change.
Key knowledge, skills and experience we are looking for:
- Have a passion for law and the ability to impart your enthusiasm to motivate and raise aspiration
- Current knowledge of legislation and impact on wider socio-political issues
- Creative use of new technologies to help students to learn and progress
- Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to adapt content delivery to the strengths and needs of all students
Our current programme offer includes:
- Level 3 Extended Certificate in Law, Psychology and Business
- Level 2 Certificate in Legal Studies

Taking Teaching Further
The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation’s Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn ‘on the job’. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
