The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant at Priory Community School - An Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join The Priory Learning Trust.

What you will do:

  • Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers. (Individual and small groups – e.g. SEND and Inclusion)
  • Support colleagues by assisting with resource preparation, display and care and support of pupils including health care
  • Keep records of work in order to provide feedback and general support.
  • Contribute to Student Profiles and PSPs.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
  • Some experience of working with children, ideally in a school context.
  • Basic ICT skills.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
