Learning Product Manager
London
As a Barclays Learning Product Manager, you will help Barclays providing a global catalogue of high quality, cost effective and relevant learning content that will support current and future skills development resulting in improved business performance and career mobility. This role focuses on acquiring and managing our content catalogues ensuring that our learning content sources and vendors effectively meet the needs of colleagues and business stakeholders.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?
- Managing a selection of content sets across baseline & service catalogues (e.g., Data, Digital, PE, Leadership, D&I, ER, Future Skills, Client Skills & Financial Markets)
- Ensuring within each topic we have progressive content which serves business needs and offers a mix of content that meeting different learning styles from digital assets
- Learning pathways within product portfolios, ensuring these support skills and capabil-ity assessments and JCCF outcomes
- Working with architecture & content management teams to ensure content is inte-grated and accessible
- Researching and keeping up to date with vendor network, identifies the best content sources across internal, external, and other providers
- Building an internal network across topic titles to leverage as content experts and SME’s or for build of internal assets where needed
- Providing portfolios of digital assets or assets to support campaigns and managing a content roadmap of relevant content to ensure content proposition continually evolves
- Identifying new ways of delivering content or content mixes that work; working with data, agile and testing to drive improvements
What we’re looking for:
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced changing business, able to co-ordinate and prioritise activities and to work with a wide variety of technical specialists and SME’s
- Experience of content management, digital platform delivery and learner engagement, knowledge of user experience principles, user interface and user journeys
- Experience of working with agile approaches and methodologies, of Project Management especially agile approaches and methodologies (full cycle), of planning and managing budgets
- Excellent commercial acumen, knowledge of the economy, market, and customer trends
Skills that will help you in the role:
- A background in digital product management or UX outside of the learning industry
- Self-disciplined and motivated, able to think analytically, analyse data and extract key mes-sages
- Demonstrates a solid grasp of business strategy from a lens of the future of work and fu-ture skills
- Understanding of working with digital learning platforms/providers and digital solutions, comfortable working with technology solutions
Where will you be working?
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
