Salary: Grade 5 (16 - 20)
Contract: 37 hours per week (core hours 08.30am – 16.30pm) for 39 weeks per year
Flexible / Part time hours will be considered and can be discussed at interview.
Start date: 01 September 2023
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our outstanding Student Services team.
You will be required to:
Work with individual students to overcome barriers to their learning
Liaise with external support agencies to ensure that individual needs are met
Contribute to the safeguarding, wellbeing and the promotion of the personal care of our students
Assist in the overall raising of standards of achievement through raising students’ esteem, expectations and aspirations
Therefore, we are looking for someone who:
Can work independently but contribute to a strong team ethos
Is willing to work flexibly
Has excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting young people
Is resilient, hard working and self-motivated
