Learning & Development Partner (Remote)

Summary of role

Contribute to the design and delivery of people, organisational development strategies and agility in support of strategic operational plans.


Support the delivery of a comprehensive and professional organisational development service throughout the organisation, reflective of our Vision and Values.

Brief summary of principle accountabilities

  • Support the People & Talent Team in delivering initiatives that help shape and deliver continuous programmes as part of Babington Teaching Academy.
  • Support the Head of Talent Acquisition and Development with diagnostic needs analysis including Leadership and management, service culture, personal development and role specific knowledge skills and behaviours.
  • Contribute to the design and development of various training programmes, schemes of work and lesson plans that are aligned to the organisation’s objectives.
  • Support the People & Talent Team in delivering initiatives that help shape and deliver continuous programmes for change.
  • Coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective learning & development programmes and organisational development initiatives based on required role knowledge, skills and behavioural competencies.
  • Conduct initial teaching, learning and assessment observations of newly acquired talent, suitably identifying performance and capability capacity.

Qualifications
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E)
  • Postgraduate in Education or equivalent (E)
  • CIPD Learning & Development qualification or willingness to acquire one (E)
Skills and experience
  • Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and practice in learning and development practices and Project Management methodologies (E)
  • Experience of liaising with diverse range of stakeholders and external agencies (E)
  • Experience of providing interactive and engaging training and development opportunities to adults (E)
  • Experience of working with people to help to remove barriers and support progression into employment, education or training (E)
