Learning Design Executive

We are looking for a Learning Design Executive to join the Learning Design and People Development Team here at British Airways, Global Learning Academy.

We are a creative team of design experts responsible for the development and implementation of learning solutions across the airline. You will work with the wider team of Business Partners, Lead Digital Designers, Leadership and Service Executives and Corporate Executives. Your role will include identifying the learning needs for brand new or significantly changed learning products. Taking into consideration all learning technologies to ensure that programmes are appropriate and effective. You will guide the journey from the discovery phase to implementation and then evaluation. We want to provide the best possible learning experience for all colleagues, enabling them to deliver for our customers.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience developing diverse blended learning solutions is key to being successful in this role
  • Ability to lead and manage large projects. Producing Learning Needs Analysis to identify suitable recommendations and developing them into effective and engaging learning experiences
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, communicating with confidence
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Preferred but not essential system knowledge, Articulate Storyline, Rise and Photoshop
  • Aspirations for continuous development
