SALARY: £20,000, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, loan car scheme, pension and a discretionary bonus.

The Human Resources department within Volkswagen Financial Services work closely with all areas of the business to support them in delivering the people strategy within their functional areas. Our purpose is to enable high performance, potential and reputation to ensure VWFS is recognised as the best automotive finance company in the UK.
You will be working with the HR department and specifically supporting the Learning & Development Team, who will include you in a range of learning and development activities that ensures our colleagues have access to the very best training, courses and tools to enable their development.

What you will be doing:
- You will support the delivery of internal induction courses to all new starters within the business, including responsibility of maintaining the Digital Induction
- Supporting the L&D Coordinator with core activities and related administration
- Acting as a point of contact for all L&D related queries, escalating more complex queries and problems to relevant team members which gives you great insight and exposure to the wider business
- You will be maintaining the database for all course evaluation sheets and produce monthly statistics and information in line with KPI reporting in the form of a Learning and Development ‘dashboard’
- You have responsibility for producing a quarterly measure and evaluation report to measure course feedback from attendees
- Providing administrative and coordination support for courses, schemes and programmes as required e.g. Mentoring and Coaching Programmes
- Supporting the administration of the Learning Management System(LMS) and other digital platforms, working closely with suppliers and subject matter experts across the business
- You have the opportunity to proactively identify and offer support to process improvements within the department
- You will have the opportunity to take the lead on a number of business wide development initiatives, working across multiple functions and with a variety of stakeholders, including our Undergraduate Life Skills programme
What can you bring with you?
- You will be enrolled at a University which offers a 1 year industrial placement
- Have a proven record of academic success with an interest to pursue a career within Learning & Development
- You are able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with a range of people that will include: delegates, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Good organisation skills with the ability to deal with a large variety of tasks in a busy environment
- You will need a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- You can use own initiative to answer questions, solve queries and find solutions
- Intermediate or advanced excel skills with the ability to analyse data to produce KPI’s
- Ability to work as part of a team with excellent customer service skills
