Job description

FM Conway is searching for a Learning and Development Manager. This full time, permanent role will be based from our Sevenoaks head office but will require travel across London, the South East and South West.

As our Learning and Development Manager you will work closely with the business to ensure that learning interventions align to the business and department needs. You will ensure that our offering is designed and delivered to be a positive experience for all, balanced with a solid return on investment for the company.

The Learning and Development Manager role

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand the company’s current and future training needs
  • Designing, developing, delivering and evaluating a first-line managers training programme
  • Delivering in-house training as required by the company
  • Ensuring that FM Conway has a best-in-class induction programme that meets the needs of all business divisions and ensures legal responsibilities are addressed
  • Supporting the Talent Team with development conversations and plans for our talent pool
  • Ensuring all learning initiatives are efficient, deliver value for money and provide an excellent delegate experience
  • Coordinating and evolving the company’s andatory training programme, ensuring it is engaging while maintaining legal compliance
  • Overseeing our digital learning platform, ensuring it is fit for purpose and being utilised across the business
  • Contributing to the Talent and Development calendar ensuring it is up to date, relevant and promoted to the business
  • Working with the L and D team to maintain learner records to ensure accuracy, compliance and the ability to claim and maximise CITB grant and apprenticeship levy funding

What we are looking for in our Learning and Development Manager

We are looking for a confident communicator, who has experience in a similar role. Knowledge of emerging talent development solutions and UK Employment Law is essential. You will be an excellent communicator and team player with strong organisation skills.
