A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
The Learning and Development Manager reports to the Senior Director of People, working closely with the Business Partners to drive business performance, increase bench strength of management capability and successful onboard new starters. They will be a strong facilitator to support behavioral change and employee engagement.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of L&D and business support
- Act as main point of contact for any general enquiries with systems or workshops and consulting with partners and wider team if necessary
- Liaise with external suppliers and masterclass experts to organise and schedule sessions
- Manage the digital learning platform – drive engagement and evaluate its success
- Ad hoc - book venues, manage diary invites and track attendance to assist the roll out of learning interventions
- Evaluate all training to ensure it adds value to Boden employees
- Setting up new starters for success
- Work collaboratively with the People Team to ensure all new team members have a smooth induction experience
- Deliver a best-in-class induction by supporting the delivery of induction that inspires, motivates and supports the values of Boden
- Demonstrate impact of induction activities and identify opportunities to improve new starters’ experience
- Arrange our best in class freshers event every 2 – 3 times a year
- Support our people with the tools to help deliver our business strategy
- Co-ordinate manager capability / development programmes, supporting cohorts and projects throughout the year
- Support the annual performance management cycle, arranging training sessions, calibration and work with the Comms Manager to share updates to the business as required
- Support with the tools and resources to help people build their careers within Boden, with a focus on fostering a development culture
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Up to date knowledge of theory and best-practice in key areas including talent-management and learning
- Strong facilitation and confident delivery of workshops
- Professional knowledge gained through working in a talent, learning or organisational development role or as an HR generalist with a talent and development focus
