- Experience in learning and development and working in partnership with Commercial Teams (specific Sales L&D experience).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technology.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and implement successful learning programs and initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to curate and facilitate Sales L&D training.
Amazon Shipping is looking for driven, results orientated and customer obsessed entrepreneurial leaders to lead our Learning and Development strategy. This will be a pivotal role that enables you to have significant business impact through your direct involvement in enabling the Sales and Marketing teams globally as we continue to expand internationally
You are innovative, self-driven and can work in a highly ambiguous environment with minimal guidance. You are the voice of the learner and will ensure their needs are at the forefront of every deliverable. You are knowledgeable in adult learning strategies for performance-based outcomes, can adapt and move quickly. You should be comfortable managing multiple concurrent and independent tasks in a fast-paced environment, while meeting milestones and deadlines.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives that support Amazon Shipping’s strategic objectives and business goals.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Commercial business leaders to identify learning needs and develop effective learning solutions that meet business requirements.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives, and use insights to continuously improve the quality and impact of L&D offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and industry experts to stay current on learning trends and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovative and creative approaches to learning and development, and lead the implementation of new initiatives as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to learning and development.
