Job description
As a Learning & Development Advisor for BPAS you will work as part of a function that is responsible for the continuing development of over 900 clinical and non-clinical employees ensuring they have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and training to deliver our reproductive health services.
You will provide a comprehensive, professional and pro-active approach to the learning and Development service to BPAS Units, in support of organisational aims. You will manage L&D compliance and work alongside our managers to facilitate this.
This is a new and exciting role with opportunities to be involved in employee engagement and delivery of other general L&D tasks, whilst ensuring the development and maintenance of robust and effective systems and the consistent achievement of L&D quality standards.
A key element of this role will be monitoring and encouraging speedy completion of induction training, auditing the process and reporting on completions.
This is a home based role working 36 hours per week with occasional travel to BPAS head office and unit locations when required. The salary for this role is £27,031 to £34,684 per annum dependent on skills and experience.
Main duties of the job
Key duties include:
- Provide first line management support to Learning & Development Administrators
- Manage Learning & Development administration function to ensure effective and efficient course administration, including the timely dispatch of joining instructions, pre course work, training materials visual aids & domestic arrangements where required
- To provide advice, guidance and support to Managers on attendance, completion, equal opportunities, conduct, capability and performance improvement, in line with L&D Policies and Procedures
- Create and maintain collaborative and constructive working relationships with BPAS clinical and operational staff, attendance at appropriate groups, forums, and other internal meetings
- Support clinical training assessors to ensure training content is current, using appropriate training methodologies
- Maintain and update competency frameworks and associated logbooks and matrices

About you:
You will have substantial demonstrable experience in a learning and development function in a similar role alongside good working knowledge of HR/Learning systems and best practice People development processes. You will have a proven track record in facilitating and delivering high quality training and will be committed to the values of training and CPD.
With a positive can do attitude you will have a high standard of work and be able to confidently communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Experience in healthcare or supporting a multi-site business with quality and compliance regulations is highly desirable.
You will also bring:

Further Information:
Location: Home based with occasional travel to BPAS locations in line with business need
Hours: 36 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:00 and Friday 09:00 to 15:30
Salary: £27,031 to £34,684 per annum depending on skills and experience
