Learner Information, Advice & Guidance Officer (Remote)

Summary of Role
Due to the success of our Future Skills provision, we are expanding our team by incorporating Learner Information, Advice & Guidance Officer to support our continued growth.
Responsible for providing effective Information, advice and guidance to potential Babington learners across a range of programmes, including our Digital Skills Bootcamps, supporting them to make informed choices. You will work closely with the Future Skills Team to support and enrol eligible learners onto Adult Education programmes including Digital Skills Bootcamps and build relationships with employers, promoting the services offered through effective sales techniques.
Brief summary of principle accountabilities
- A pivotal part of the role will be ensuring you deliver an informative I.A.G., either group sessions or one-to-one with the learners, for them to make an informed decision.
- Host Open days, workshops etc., virtually to support the onboarding team.
- Operate an initial assessment, selection and matching process for all regional opportunities, providing enough suitable learners to meet internal targets and timelines.
- Effectively manage a caseload of candidates and live learners to maximise progression opportunities.
- Maintain good knowledge and understanding of all relevant programmes, departments and opportunities.
- Provide effective Information, advice and guidance to potential learners.
- Responsible for enrolling all eligible learners onto their program and submitting timely and accurate paperwork to the onboarding team.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators are consistently achieved.
- Ensure regular communication with the management in respect of any concerns about a client, learner or opportunity.
- Ensure that all company’s databases are updated immediately with all relevant client and/or candidate information.
- Build and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E)
- Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice and Guidance or willingness to work towards (E)
Skills and experience
- Ability to provide robust Information, Advice & Guidance about further education programmes to employers, candidates and partners (E)
- Working experience in recruitment, marketing, resourcing, or sales (E)
- Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision (E)
- Experience of Government funded training (D)
- Proven experience of liaising with employers and external agencies (E)
- Proven experience of building a portfolio of candidates and tracking candidate status (E)
- Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction (E)
