WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all KPI’s and productivity levels are maintained in line with company targets, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, along with:
- Experience in leading and motivating staff.
- Being an excellent communicator and motivator with the ability to delegate and empower teams to achieve.
- Have the ability to lead a team to achieve KPI’s and objectives and ensure the site operates effectively and efficiently.
- Have the ability to co-ordinate work and allocate resources amongst the team.
- Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Being willing to work in all area’s of the warehouse and prioritise as per operational requirements.
- Commitment.
- Be able to cover the Supervisor role when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a Warehouse environment within a Distribution background.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to co-ordinate works and allocates resources amongst team.
- Commitment – sees the job through to completion.
SKILLS/ ABILITIES
- Team Leader skills, leading and motivating staff.
- An awareness of Health and Safety in the warehouse.
