Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Lead Warehouse Operative to join our team in Northampton, NN4 5EL ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on site!
This is full-time, permanent position and you will be working on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, between the hours of 08.00 – 20.00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- To maintain productivity and performance levels as set and agreed with the Manager
- To assist management in directing staff to ensure efficient completion of the daily workload
- Be responsible for the performance of the team and ensuring that targets are met, and deadlines are hit. Make sure colleagues are clear as to their targets and expectations
- To be vigilant at all times and highlight any problems to the FLM
- To ensure GXO operational and H&S procedures and policies are adhered to at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Knowledge of WMS along with good knowledge of spreadsheet and Word programs
- Interpersonal skills that respond in a positive manner to the requests of the customer, your team, colleagues, and management
- The ability to bring attention to detail to the role that ensures that a high level of accuracy is achieved
- Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads with the ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
