Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with statistical data analysis, querying, scripting (e.g., R or Python, SQL), developing/managing metrics or evaluating programs/products.
- Experience with mentoring/coaching team members, or people management in a technical environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with strategic analysis, data analysis, metric reporting and executive presentations.
- Experience with experimental design, training in areas such as data analysis, survey design, statistical modeling.
- Ability to extract insights from data, solve business problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments.
- Ability to apply statistical training.
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities
- Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams, and work with Product Manager and Engineering Leads to identify strategic insights, growth and quality opportunities for the product.
- Make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
- Work with data sets and solve issues, bring statistical methods to the problems of measuring quality, improving consumer products, and understanding the behavior of end-users.
- Build a machine learning model to identify drivers of engagement level. Understand complex machine learning models.
- Manage a team of analysts to run product analysis work, provide guidance of our metrics, methods, and measurement capabilities.
