Lead Librarian - Education Library Service
We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy and successful Education Library Service (ELS) team, working with over 280 schools across 8 local authorities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, and pro-active Lead Librarian to be responsible for the successful delivery of the Education Library Service. They will demonstrate strategic insight and leadership ensuring the continuous development of a high quality business unit and service across the delivery area from ELS's base in Winsford, Cheshire West and Chester.

Cheshire Education Library Service works with subscribing primary, secondary, special and nursery schools to deliver a range of reading and library services. As specialists in children's literature we provide a range of resources and services to help support schools with teaching and learning.
We are looking for an experienced, capable, dynamic and solution focused leader with experience of managing and delivering library services. The successful applicant will be part of the wider libraries management team focussed on delivering excellent services to schools and residents whilst maintaining an efficient operating model. They will have strong relationship management skills and be able to promote the service to schools and liaise with colleagues regionally and nationally to share best practice and innovation. They will have excellent business management and leadership skills to help to continue to develop and improve this valued service.
