The Role:

An exceptional makeup artist and industry expert, with a flair for Charlotte Tilbury’s aesthetic, a Lead Global Pro Artist is the ultimate brand ambassador, fuelling Brand Awareness, Brand Advocacy & Commercial Success, and sharing Charlotte’s signature Artistry with the world.

Working closely with Charlotte and our Director of Art on Brand production shoots, campaigns & Partnerships, fashion shows, special events and VIP experiences, Charlotte entrusts the Lead Global Pro Artists to echo her unique makeup style and limitless business approach, and translate backstage and Red Carpet secrets to our employees and consumers alike.

Reporting into the Head of Global Pro Artistry, you will drive limitless commercial success through New Product & Campaign Development, Omni-Channel makeup experiences and content creation for Brand channels. You will work alongside Global Creative, New Product Development, Marketing and Education teams to share exceptional Artistry expertise at key touchpoints; from product inception all the way to product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an ambassador and expert in artistry within the business demonstrating fluency in Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup style, language and expertise in product knowledge
• Continuously collaborate with Product Development, Marketing and Creative to create, define and reimagine new product concepts, demonstrating the perfect blend of Art and Commerce to research, develop and test new product offerings, with the Charlotte Tilbury consumer at the forefront
• Provide Artistry Guidelines for NPD Launches to define the required retail delivery
• Support and lead artistry on Charlotte Tilbury production and campaign shoots, demonstrating meticulous preparation and professionalism and an exceptional eye for detail to flawlessly prescribe the right look and and execute the brief every time
• Content creation and capture to showcase upcoming NPD to for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist Charlotte during Press events by guiding her through presentations and prompting her with language & product knowledge ensuring she brings her very best to the press
• Work closely with Communications (VIP & Talent) to support Charlotte’s VIP makeup appointments regionally and Globally as and when required
• Support the delivery of exceptional makeup artistry at award shows, fashion shows, backstage events, brand partnerships and other brand building events
• Deliver industry leading Omnichannel Events, which build brand awareness, create magical experiences and provide limitless ROI
• Creation of content for Charlotte’s Brand channels to drive Brand Advocacy and Sales Growth at every opportunity
• Support Global Head of Pro Artistry to develop, share feedback and measure the continual improvement of Pro Artists across the globe through Mentoring, Pro Artistry training, Social Education, and Eventing Excellence
• Ensure every day is meticulously planned and orchestrated flawlessly, pulling from experience to anticipate ad hoc requirements and mitigating risks
• Facilitate the integration of Pro Artistry into Magic Office and Retail through Social, Development and Magical experiences
• Responsible for kit maintenance, replenishment and cleanliness

Requirements

We Are looking For:

• Exceptionally experienced, talented makeup artist and industry expert. 8-10+ years makeup artistry experience & exceptional artistry skills – must have backstage & on set experience as a minimum expectation to be considered
• Broad artistry portfolio of backstage and editorial artistry with experience and confidence across diverse artistry
• Agile, proactive and timely
• Meticulous organisation & impeccable time management
• Flair for beauty, product, and Charlotte Tilbury’s aesthetic
• Proficient in developing rich product knowledge (product stories, features, benefits, ingredients, textures, results, applications etc.)
• Passionate about seizing opportunities to develop artistry and content creation skills
• Embraces change to promote a positive mindset within teams they encounter
• Excellent communication and presentation/ hosting skills
• Social media fluency and profile, understanding of key platforms and ability to deliver strategic content cadence
• Well versed in social content creation with camera confidence
• Editing experience desirable
• Highly organised with strategic prioritisation
• Methodical, logical, attentive to detail, organised and calm under pressure
• Positive, professional, discreet. Sensitivity to and experience working with high profile individuals & celebrities
• Thrives under pressure and delivers quality in good time
• Works with pace, efficient and pro-actively in a team, with the ability to motivate others
• Ability to travel Globally and over weekends for key events and Brand activities
