About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant to join the international compensation function on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This role will be a key member of a small team, instrumental in delivering on all aspects of compensation to support our growing platform with particular focus on corporate and investment banking and a broad range of other commercial, control and support functions.
The role provides an ideal opportunity to deploy existing, well-developed compensation consulting skills in an environment where they can make a real impact on the effectiveness of the employee value proposition.

In this role, you will:
- Undertake consulting activity with HR and business leaders on all aspects of the compensation proposition, including extensive involvement in year-end processes, market competitiveness and hiring support
- Support regulatory compensation work including Material Risk Taker identification and communication and assurance that the regulatory payout processes are delivered effectively
- Contribute to development of compensation programs to ensure requirements are met in accordance with international requirements, internal policy and governmental requirements
- Undertake extensive project work to develop new compensation initiatives in areas such as gender pay, job architecture and other enterprise-wide developments
- Work with stakeholders, internal partners, and peers to ensure effectiveness of enterprise-wide compensation strategy in international context
- Develop, interpret and manage policies, procedures and associated processes for international compensation, including risk and control initiatives
- Work closely with international benefits team to develop a compelling total reward proposition
- Experience in Compensation, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in consulting with HR and business management
- Investment Banking experience
- Hybrid working model with the expectation of working a minimum of 3 days from the London office.
